The Parmenter Foundation
The HEARTplay Program is substantially funded by The Parmenter Foundation. Founded in 1949, The Parmenter Foundation is a charitable nonprofit organization located in Wayland, Mass. The Foundation empowers MetroWest residents coping with serious illness, end of life or hardship to build pathways to resiliency. They do so by identifying, funding and partnering with trusted nonprofits that deliver programs aimed at helping neighbors positively impact their lives for the long term. Grief Reach Grant Initiative
Thanks to a generous Grief Reach Grant from the New York Life Foundation, HEARTplay is proud to announce an expansion of services to serve children, teens, and young adults of all abilities in our bereavement programs. This expansion of services includes increased capacity for individual bereavement sessions, a high staff to participant ratio to ensure a safe, supportive, and responsive experience for all, and increased time and resources spent developing adaptive and appropriate bereavement programming to best serve the needs of the growing number of children, teens, and young adults with disabilities that we are seeing in our programs.
